I started reading it to her when she was under a year old and at about 16 months, she can understand the expressions and mimics it. This is a stage where the child repeats interesting actions, and this book can be used by the reader/caregiver to imitate the facial expressions of the baby in the picture and then read the emotion label while pointing to the word in the book. Solutions that help kids handle their hot feelings in healthier ways. Sometimes kids have big reactions to even the smallest problems. I just borrowed from the library on Monday, put it in her library book basket, and we have already read this one at least 10 times. It's very sturdy.
