The breakfast, included with our daily rate, was EXCELLENT!!!! Situated on the Broadbeach side of Surfers Paradise, you can enjoy the best the area has to offer by day or night but swiftly escape the hustle and bustle when you arrive back at the hotel.
We recently stayed for 3 nights in a large room on the second floor. Rooms were clean and tidy, disappointed that car parking was an additional charge as per Wi-Fi in the room.Cleaners removed a personal towel which was not returned after seeing front desk 3 times.Chefs' attitude and behaviour was extremely poor, especially as it was clearly heard while dinning in the restaurant. valet damaged the passenger side of my hire car on the rocks on the side of the driveway then denied they did it they have camera survelience but can not provide evidence that they did not do it.when confronted with issue i was told the valet damage waiver i signed voided any damage valet drivers did to vehicles .choice of parking in valet or risking fine on road.thrifty car hire charged $517.00 for damage they did.iwill never stay here again.More, Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to complete your review in relation to your stay at Australis Sovereign Hotel. When you book airport parking from Alpha, you get a complimentary airport shuttle Gold Coast service to the airport after parking and back to our depot when you arrive. I do confirm that it is against hotel policy to provide copies of our CCTV footage to guests. They have happy hour in the evening and breakfast in the morning and a small “essentials” retail section. We will not be returning. We were very dissapointed in all the little added extras the hotel tried to charge us for.... little things that one would think would automatically come with the room. It is an ok hotel for a couple of days but no more. 8.2. Mini bar had been used and not checked properly before our arrival. Alpha Sovereign Hotel Gold Coast (formerly Australis Sovereign) is just the place to stay for a quiet retreat in Surfers Paradise, while still having easy access to beaches, shopping, dining and attractions. We found the staff were friendly and although frequently inundated with bus loads of Asian guests, they always seemed to find time for us. We were on the 6th floor and had a great view with a veranda.
