We were there for my birthday and after my father paying an exorbitant price for our buffet meals, I offered to pay for the wine. Desserts were awesome! The service was also lacking, to order wine I had to give the waitress my card and she wandered off to other tables to serve them before returning with my wine (and card!) The quality is outstanding, but the variety is severely lacking. They have a range of foods and different cultural foods. The renovation has brought the Gold Coast restaurant in line with its sister venue at The Star Sydney by adopting similar branding and design styles. Harvest Buffet is the brand new piece of the upgrade puzzle and it is one buffet you are going to want to sample at the earliest available opportunity. I ended up with a plate of the only three salads I could eat and macaroni cheese with a spoonful of pesto pasta as that was all that was available for vegetarians, unless you prefer pizza.
There’s plenty for the sweet tooths as well, with a decadent dessert display featuring a two-metre tall chocolate fountain. It even included beetroot in the sandwich which is rare nowadays even in a hamburger.

There were lots of dishes tucked away like steamed, 1 Casino Drive The Star Gold Coast, Casino Level, Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Queensland 4218 Australia. Highly recommend!More.

My only real issue is the fact that it was so crowded that you had to wait too long to get through and if you wanted the seafood you had to get in the line for the asian selection as there were no separate lines for each section. At Harvest Buffet said food comprises of an absolutely incredible seafood selection filled with the freshest of oceany goodies (including plenty of locally caught treats), a super stacked carvery station, a Chinese BBQ and Asian stations, a house-made pizza and pasta station and of course, one of the very best decadent dessert buffets you’ve ever laid eyes upon. “Harvest Buffet has increased its capacity by more than 100 to approximately 500 seats and with the construction of a new state-of-the-art kitchen and entrance, this single project has seen the creation of more than 50 jobs.”. Prepare your senses for overload at the Gold Coast’s ultimate buffet experience.
