As of this AM, the Scoutnet sync had still not occurred.
It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within the Boy Scouts of America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, regional, area, council, district, and unit levels. And just to clarify before someone chimes in that we are “doing it wrong”, the unit does not use Scoutbook. This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! @GanttEdmiston - the sync from scoutnet to scoutbook is from what I recall overnight.

Once the position was approved everything sync’d. Membership and advancement (and now activity logs) are different things. The path through Akela is only to get data into ScoutNET. I became Committee Chair of my Troop earlier this year but am unsure if the Troop Scoutbook account is setup to sync to ScoutNet. Thanks for the info! We can see the records are there, but cannot generate a Scoutshop report with his information, within IA2.0. Powered by Discourse, best viewed with JavaScript enabled. Other than logging into Scoutbook, to prime the single-sign-on, then clicking on IA2.0 from within Scoutbook, to login to IA2.0 - they should be no need to click a patrol position and approve it, for a data feed from IA2.0 to sync to ScoutNET. @JeffreyDaughenbaugh - sure but it will be around 7pm est. My understanding is that in 2017 existing units in Scoutbook needed to sync the members data once in order to copy the official membership data to Scoutbook. This smells like a BUG to me. The Council registrar entered all missing ranks and merit badges this morning, 7/10/2019. Thank you, really appreciate the support.
This is holding up one of my scouts from being approved for his Eagle rank board of review. It should be setup already to push Approved items to Scoutnet - you can look at the roster and make sure the Scouts have a A with a circle beside their names. We are still having Council enter our records into Scoutbook, assuming they made it “official”.
