This iconic piece boasts superior heat retention, and Le Creuset’s easy-care enameled interior, which doesn’t require seasoning. I don’t want it to break, and I don’t want to buy one at this point in time…. Not silly AT ALL!! I think I’d like to make some of that No Knead Peasant Bread and maybe some Boer Bourgignon in the League Cruse Dutch Oven! Our winner is @thesoulfulsprout on Instagram, congratulations! The actual cast iron should be totally fine at the higher temps. Your email address will not be published. Maybe closer to 18/20?
would love to try to make the bread!! Do you mix in the water with a whisk or just a spatula? Thank you so much for the giveaway!
It looks delish!
I was wondering almost the same thing a few days ago...smaller NKB loaves; sesame NKB 'bread rolls' for lunch...I'm sure you know what I mean! If you're looking for an easy bread recipe, this is it! Thanks so much! I would make chicken and dumplings , chicken and rice, potato leek soup, and broccoli cheddar soup. Can I use parchment paper in dutchnoven. Place an empty Le Creuset 22cm Signature Round Casserole into the oven along with the lid for 30 minutes just before you are ready to bake. I had a plain black cast iron Dutch oven but I hated all the work to maintain it so I gave it to my son-in-law and bought an enamel lined one for easier clean-up. Also, there is a tiny hole in the top of the lid, and should I assume this should be plugged to keep all steam inside. Thanks for sharing! I’m not an expert with bread making but I do think that will be fine.
i do like rosemary but sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming so could i use maybe dill in the bread recipe? I’d like to invite you to follow my new Nail page on Facebook. Followed by a wonderul seafood stew to go with it!! That bread looks fantastic! Holy yum!
Dice up your garlic finely and spread it evenly on half of the brie. I let the dough sit overnight. The possibilities are endless. Below are some of the newest Deep Teal additions, but be sure to check out the entire collection here. I’m wondering if you could put sliced olives in it? I would make beef stew. That sounds yummy!!! I am also going to try this with an 8" dutch oven.
Let dough rest over night at room temperature.
Coconut curry chicken with rice. And also some delicious soups!
It would be good with homemade chicken soup! Just printed the recipe and gonna make it tomorrow! Although it does have to sit and rise overnight (it needs a good 12 hours), the prep for it is basically nothing, and you only need 5 ingredients. Stuck to the bottom of Dutch oven but the inside was underdone.
Since there are only 2 of us, the resulting breads are too big to consume before getting stale: hence the terrine pan idea.
I can’t even pick one recipe!
If so, how do I do that? I have an answer, but it's not a 'one-size-fits-all' solution...I have a cast-iron Japanese rice-pot which is much narrower at the base than a dutch oven, but widens enough at the top to allow good oven spring. Also, this may sound silly but when should the rosemary be put in? The raised ridges will give steak those coveted grill marks, while the smartly designed spouts and handles let you pour out excess fat. Serving Size. Thanks and I look forward to trying it!!!
