This month explores a new range of daily sketchbook prompts to get your imagination running.

With summer on the horizon, it’s a great time to take out sketchbooks for morning reflection or travel. In the middle of May I sent out an email to my list and asked if they would be interested in doing a 30 day art journal challenge in June. It’s entirely up to you! SEPTEMBER 2020 ART CHALLENGE: Super September! Just fill out the form below! NaNoMangO: Participants draw thirty pages of sequential art. You should always paint whatever inspires you most. Again, this is meant to be joyful, and low pressure, right?!

“Drips” to one person may mean flicking watercolors off a toothbrush and to another person it might mean covering a page in marker and then leaving the page outside on a drizzly morning. The key is to be consistent and have a lot of FUN in the process. If you missed last month’s challenge, read this post for more details. Print it out and glue into your art journal. 20 Art styles challenge is an art challenge where your task is to draw the same character/or yourself in 20 different art styles. (I’d love it! Very similar to the challenge described above, but here we have an additional rule – the number of styles.
