The building is 665 feet tall and 41 floors and is located on Fourth Street in downtown Cincinnati. The tower was renamed in 2003 when Fifth Third Bank of Cincinnati relocated its Cleveland area operations to the structure. One Cleveland Center is Cleveland's fifth tallest building.
200 Public Square features multiple setbacks at its top which are intended to lessen its visual impact on the nearby Terminal Tower.
Another unusual aspect is the building's angular site placement, a rarity given downtown Cleveland's "grid" street pattern.
Also located at the complex is “Portal”, a large sculpture by noted artist Isamu Noguchi and other public art installations. In September of 2005, KeyBank added illuminated signage to each side of the base of the crown.
For many years, floodlights illuminated the building; in 2002 Cleveland State University added signage at the top floors of the building to mark the institution's presence in the skyline. A notable feature is the publicly accessible 32nd floor bar and deck. Cleveland, the second biggest city in the US state of Ohio house 142 completed high-rises, 33 of which stand above 250 feet. The building also features an 8-story atrium, one of Cleveland's largest, with numerous fountains and artwork throughout. One of the original designs for this building was an eight-story structure with central courtyard that occupied most of the site. The building contains office space and a recently-renovated atrium, with a water feature. But did you know that the Terminal Tower has made plenty of movie appearances, including "The Avengers" and "Spiderman 3?" It was completed in 1985 and is one of the three buildings on Public Square that make the list. 200 Public Square is the third tallest building in Cleveland and the fourth tallest in Ohio. The site was formerly the home to the Hollenden Hotel. Key Tower has 57 floors, and was the tallest building between New York City and Chicago when it was completed, according to Cleveland Historical. After the bank mergers, the building was vacated and maintained for over a decade. Cleveland Trust later became Ameritrust Bank, which eventually merged with Society Bank (Society Bank is now part of KeyBank). It was the tallest in the world (outside of New York City) until 1953 when the main building was constructed at Moscow State University.
