Upon checking into the room we found the bathroom had dirty towels hanging on the back of the door, the new towels had a mildew scent, the shower and bathroom floor had dark long hair all over, and the shower had used products (soap bar, shampoo/condition).

Having black mold and a persevering dampness is not the fault of it being on the Oregon Coast, no other place I stayed had this issue, its simply that the owners have no sense of what cleanliness is. My favorite rooms are #1 , the Aviator room and #6 the outdoorsy hunting lodge room.

Lots of outdoorsy and small beach town sort of adventures to be had if you're down here for a weekend or longer. Nearby attractions include Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area (1.9 miles), Oregon Coast Glassworks (4.6 miles), and Otter Crest Loop (3.2 miles).

There are plenty of other hotel/motel options available in the area (that look much cleaner and updated) and at a lower cost. Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival. I feel like we have found a hidden gem! Conveniently located restaurants include Georgie's Beachside Grill, Local Ocean Seafoods, and Nye Beach Cafe. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this Inn again! The Hosts are very friendly and inviting, they might even have a cold one waiting for you at the fire pit. Yes, guests often enjoy the ocean view available here. Nice ocean view from our room though.
We stayed in the Hunting Lodge room (#6) and it was perfect for two kids and two adults. Ask Robby G C about Moolack Beach.
