it was then we discovered with an almighty BANG that there were buffaloes in the room above us.
I did not try the bar. A castle in New Hampshire like you wouldn’t imagine.
An amazing breakfast was included in the price of your daily stay. Exactly!! Right - that's that out of he way.Look. Searles Castle is an important landmark to the Town of Windham NH. This includes the hot tub. We looked forward to our dining experience that evening. Reservations in the candle lit dining room, a cocktail in the cozy pub before hand. !..........The restaurant was actually very good indeed.
her attentive service and perception made us feel like friends of old. The castle itself is simply beautiful, a fairy tale setting.
When did you last have a bath where you can both be at the same end? It’s located just a short 0.8 mi (1.3 km) from Santa’s Village. Simples.

Each of them appeared to be a "jack of all trades". we booked reservations at the Christmas farm Inn in hopes of a gentle, romantic, peaceful Christmas. Recently stayed at Christmas Tree Farm Inn for the thirds time. We went to the Main Inn for breakfast, a tad bit grouchy from our early morning revelry...and there we were greeted with our Server Kathy's smile. Why? Please see our partners for more details.
Then.... our friend Pete started playing the piano: wow!!!! The grounds of the Inn remind one of a small village setting. it is obvious housekeeping takes pride in their work.
What a lovely place! We were offered a more modern lodge than the Sugar House that we booked, but the moment I stepped through the door there was no way we were staying elsewhere!
Most places were fully booked. The owner apologized sincerely and worked to find a resolution while we ate our thanksgiving dinner. We ended up staying in the carriage house for one night but had to move to a small room in the inn for the second night. Stayed at the Inn for 10 days in November including Thanksgiving. For the sake of fairness I need to say this review is a bit tainted, but not by any fault of the establishment. Enjoyed the restaurant, eating there around 4 times for dinner and breakfast most days, each one was delicous.
Luckily there were other visitors who knew where the "on" switch was located for the hot tub. Plenty of great pubs and eating joints locally too. Initial glitches with the reservation system, and a possible loss of our information did not help with enthusiasm. But then there was dinner. A place to experience serenity, great food, good conversation, and a true taste of New England's hospitality thanks to the Plourde family. The event was also wonderfully managed.
There is a fitness building with pool and hot tub. If you are a resident of another country or region, please select the appropriate version of Tripadvisor for your country or region in the drop-down menu.
