The Corrections Officer/Deputy PSAV certification program prepares you to train to become a State of Florida corrections officer.

Stark State’s law enforcement academy prepares you to pursue one of a number of careers in law enforcement, including municipal, township or village police officer; deputy sheriff; state wildlife officer and other law enforcement positions. The Equivalency of Training Process allows an officer to be exempt from the full basic recruit academy. Once approved, you will receive an Equivalency of Training CJSTC Form 76. Upon satisfactory completion, students will be eligible to take the CJSTC Certification Examination, as prescribed in Florida Statute § 943.17(1).
